therapeutic approach
I see sex as a form of communication — a way we connect, express ourselves, and make meaning with others. It can hold joy, vulnerability, curiosity, and sometimes, pain or confusion. Everyone goes through moments when sex or intimacy feels complicated. Those moments are opportunities to listen more closely to ourselves and what our bodies might be trying to say.
My work invites clients to explore the experiences that shape their sexual selves — things like family and cultural influences, stress, trauma, fantasies and changing desire. Together, we make sense of how these pieces come together to form your sexual ecosystem so you can begin to feel more attuned to yourself and, in turn, to your partner(s). This awareness opens space for deeper intimacy, greater ease, and new possibilities for connection.

land acknowledgement
I acknowledge that the land where I live and practice is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the New Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa and the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is home to many diverse First Nations peoples. I also recognize that Toronto is part of Treaty 13 and the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant — an agreement to share and care for the land and its resources in peace.
In addition, I acknowledge the presence and contributions of people of African descent who were forcibly brought to this land through the transatlantic slave trade, and whose labour, resilience, and cultural legacy continue to shape this land.
As a settler who practices therapy, I acknowledge that healing modalities have and continue to exist in many different forms on this land and that many ways of healing influenced modern day psychotherapy without due credit. I extend a standing invitation to my clients to reflect on the ways in which this reality comes into our sessions and always hold my own lens softly - inviting opportunity for it to be expanded.
